As Sr. V.P. to the real estate subsidiary of major financial institution, Bob Rodino structured J/V’s, provided the equity, and co-managed the development of 5 development projects totaling $150 million worth of investment real estate:
Paradise Valley Apartments, a mixed-use project in Phoenix, Arizona
Cypress Center, a 70,000 sq ft. center anchored by Target in Cypress, CA
Marriott Redondo Beach Hotel and retail, 252 rooms, Redondo Beach, CA
Simi Valley Industrial Park, a 150,000 sq. ft industrial park, Simi Valley, CA
Sorrento Valley Office Building, a 50,000 sq. ft office building, San Diego, CA
Bathgate Housing Development Corp, acquired, rehabilitated and re-tenanted 400 tenement housing units in 8 buildings in the South Bronx, N.Y.
Development Services
Great Urban Places provides development management services to small and medium developers and investors in the areas of transaction assistance, market research, development feasibility, due diligence, asset repositioning, renovation and construction. Our firm also provides development management services to local municipalities in connection with urban revitalization plans
Acquisitions and Dispositions
Bob Rodino has directed the acquisition and sales over $500 million of investment grade shopping centers, office buildings, apartments and light industrial properties throughout the southwestern United States, for developers and major institutional investors.
Property Management
As President and CEO of a property management, Bob Rodino directed the management of a portfolio of 12 neighborhood and community shopping centers in California, totaling 1.5 million square feet of retail space, including the preparation of management plans, lease negotiations, repositioning plans, marketing and promotions, and investment reporting.
